Depois da técnica de “baking”, em que o pó solto translúcido é usado para fixar a maquiagem na pele e assim conseguir um efeito muito mais duradouro e aveludado, surge um outro método ainda mais inusitado, diretamente da Coréia, para garantir uma pele de porcelana o dia todo. Trata-se do “Jamsu”, que significa mergulhar ou submergir, em que depois de completar a maquiagem de pele com base, corretivo e contorno, as coreanas aplicam uma camada caprichada de pó solto de maquiagem ou talco em todo o rosto e então mergulha a face em um recipiente com água gelada durante aproximadamente 30 segundos.
Depois, é só secar o rosto com uma toalha suave, pressionando-a levemente contra o rosto para evitar remover a maquiagem e, por fim, aplique o blush e finalize com a make de olhos e lábios.
Cuidado com os exageros para evitar o ‘efeito fantasma’
Para que o “jamsu” realmente dê certo, é importante não aplicar uma camada de pó muito espessa. O ideal é usar uma quantidade que cubra toda a rosto, mas sem aquele efeito “pancake”, para evitar ficar com a pele muito esbranquiçada ou com aspecto pesado. Aplique o produto com um pincel fofo, focando nas regiões mais oleosas ou que tendem a acumular produto, como a área dos olhos e ao redor da boca, e em seguida, mergulhe-o na água.

Por incrível que pareça, o resultado é um aspecto superliso e uniforme, como se a maquiagem tivesse fundido com a pele, e é perfeito para quem tem pele oleosa ou para dias de muito calor, como no verão que já se aproxima aqui no Brasil, já que o pó ajuda a manter a oleosidade sob controle. Embora não seja tão prática para fazer no dia a dia, a técnica é ótima para um evento especial, já que além de aperfeiçoar o acabamento da base na pele, ainda deixa o look muito mais duradouro.
