5 ditas de alimentos pro verão
Quem mora em regiões muito quentes, principalmente nas grandes cidades, com muito concreto e pouca vegetação, sabe que bem-estar não é artigo abundante no verão. O calor excessivo nos deixa cansados, irritados, sem apetite (como é difícil seguir uma alimentação saudável no calor!) e, em algumas pessoas – eu, por exemplo –, pode causar queda da pressão arterial, o que pode levar à sensação de mal-estar e até a desmaios.
Esse ano temos a
+-perspectiva de um verão assolador, com racionamento de água e energia elétrica. Mas podemos adotar medidas para reduzir o desconforto em vários aspectos. A alimentação é um dos principais. Eis cinco sugestões para você ter uma alimentação saudável no calor:
1. No mercado, a principal seção é a de hortifrúti. Consuma frutas em todas as refeições: no café da manhã, nos lanches da manhã e da tarde, no almoço e no jantar. Inclua legumes e verduras (de preferência crus) no maior número possível de refeições.
2. Abuse dos sucos naturais (sem açúcar) bem geladinhos. Picolés, raspadinhas e sacolés de sucos naturais são ótimos para refrescar. Cenouras e beterrabas cruas ficam saborosas nos sucos, e ainda ajudam a adoçar.
3. Dê preferência aos grãos e produtos integrais, como arroz, pão e macarrão. Como o calor tira um pouco a fome e os alimentos integrais são digeridos mais lentamente, eles o estômago e os intestinos ficam ocupados por mais tempo.
4. Chá gelado também é uma ótima opção para hidratar. Acrescente bastante gelo e ingredientes como hortelã, limão, gengibre e erva-doce para aumentar a sensação refrescante. Nada de açúcar, mas um pouquinho de mel é permitido.
5. Prefira carnes grelhadas. Quer sua preferência seja a carne vermelha (bovina), a de aves (frango, peru) ou de peixe (mais leve e mais saudável) –, quanto menos gordura no preparo melhor. Grelhar é a melhor opção.
E nunca é demais lembrar: diga não ao desperdício, qualquer que seja ele – comida, água, energia. Nosso planeta agradece!
